Any special for a child's birthday?

My DS will be turning 12 years old six days before we get to Disney. We wanted to arrive on his birthday, but I couldn't get vacation time for that week :( Nevertheless, he is thrilled beyond words, especially since this is our first trip to WDW. What special thing can we do to celebrate (belatedly) his birthday at WDW? He is not interested in a character breakfast, since that is totally "uncool" in his eyes. We are staying at All Star Sports. Can we arrange for anything "special" there? Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

we arrived on my sons 7th birthday. we had dinner at the hoop dee doo revue. tons of fun! we told them at check in and they sent up balloons and a card from mickey and minnie. at magic kingdom we got him an "its my birthday" button to wear and everyone wished him happy birthday all day.

if you really want to suprise him with something special, contact jane with gifts of a lifetime, via "jane@giftsofalifetime.com" shes wonderful and will set up any one of a number of suprises in your choice of settings. i set up a, indiana jones treasure hunt for my husbands birthday at mgm!

I had asked the same question not to long ago and someone suggested I contact Jane at Gifts of a Lifetime. If you go to the DIS home page you can should be able to find it or do a search, I am not to sharp with the computer or else I would put her website address here.

Anyways, we filled out the questionaire and am anxiously awating her response. My DD loves animals and we booked breakfast at Boma's to celebrate her 10th. This way we can walk around AKL after we eat. She is fascinated by Africa. We will also do Chef Mickeys (as we always do) and have them sing to her.

Jane does have some pretty cool events for a pretty cool kid! Into sports or loves the villians? Almose anything he likes, we can do! Just fill out a questionaire! And as a reminder to anyone reading this. It does take us some time to get responses to your questionaires out. There are only 2 of us who work on your responses and we get them out as soon as possible. So, if you are wondering, please email Jane directly and ask about it.
