IGTDs exercise journal - posters welcome

Hey thanks to a post on the CB I found where you guys have been hanging out. Want to start a food/diet journal but for now I'll begin with my exercise journal.
This morning (as I like to do most mornings) I went on a 2mile walk around the circle in front of my house. Got DS on the bus and got out there. I have time most mornings btwn 720 when DS gets on the bus and 815 when I need to get ready for work. Not sure exactly how much I walked but I figure each time around the circle is about .2mile. 10x's I consider 2miles.
I usually walk at least 2miles/day. If I skip a day I make it up a different day.
Also like to end my day by getting out there and walking too. I feel it's my time to play in the outdoors.
Last night I also got out and mowed the front yard. Hopefully tonight I'll have the motivation to finish the back & sides.
Last Sept-Nov (when I was getting ready for a cruise) I upped my walking to 3miles/day and it did pay off.
Now I should get back out there because the kids get out of school/summer starts in 8wks!

and the cleaning lady (and Jimmy Buffet) came to my house today and cleaned the 3 bathrooms & kitchen, vacuumed upstairs and started on the windows - does cleaning count as exercise?

After work I got out on our circle and walked 15x's. I figure it's close to 3miles.

Hmm, did Jimmy Buffet stop by with margaritas or just music? I can't wait for my parents to move into their house (end of June!) They live with me right now and I can't play my motivational moving music. I LOVE Jimmy Buffet! Keep up the movement, you are making progress! :)

went out this morn after DS got on the bus and did my 10times
getting out of work at 330 (240 if I dont take my lunch earlier). If its nice, Ill be walking
anyone want to walk with me?

new mindframe - I know my body can handle 30x's around that circle per day (about 6miles). I had just been doing the 30 when I needed to catch up. But you know what? so what if I go over my allotment. If its a nice day, I'm getting out there. Its my way of playing outside.
I honestly did notice more birdies today (even the 1 wayyy up on the top tree) and the flowers are blooming.

its a nice day today so after I get out of work (once DS gets here from school in about 50mins) we're going to Purgatory Chasm to hike
if its not raining once we get back I'll walk the "hamster wheel" (circle) again

just got back from Purgatory, having dinner and getting back outside to walk the circle

Sat morn - just checked the Port Canaveral webcam and my ship is waiting for me - I'll be there in 28wks
Having my coffee, OS cranrasp juice and raisin bran while on the internet as I do most mornings
I dont need to leave today for another 2.5hrs so as soon as I finish Im getting outside to start walking. Suppose to rain sometime today so not sure if I can get out when I return about 4pm. Better do it now

Sun morn - got another 10walks in late yesterday afternoon before I went to friends house to have my hair colored. However, we had a couple blenders soo gotta get back out there this morn and walk again. Then taking DS to the Mystic Aquarium.

My friend has been out this morn walking w/another friend for over an hour now! I guess I wont have my walking partner today and will need to walk my 6miles by myself!

I saved some energy for you..............we even walked downtown and got an ice coffee and back which was about 3.6 miles..........and you could've come out to join us you know............I hope you had a good rest of the day.........see you at the gerbil track another time

my "friend" pajammatam told me at the bus stop this morn that it's actually slightly over 6x's around to make a mile (she clocked it w/her car) -- so guess I'll just be keeping track by x's around, not miles

Well today I only got out there for 5x's around the circle. Went to doc and had EKG done. Tomorrow morn after DS gets on the school bus Im going for bloodwork. Hopefully tonight & tomorrow night it wont be raining so I can get caught up on my walking.

Doc wants me to find some type of exercise for the winter - uhoh

Thanks to CamColt (1st responder after a thread I posted) I got outside in the drizzle and walked 10 tonight

Tues morn means back to work - its not exactly sunny outside but it is much drier than its been.
Just walked 10 (usual morn routine after DS gets on the school bus). Made "date" to walk w/Tammie again after work - hopefully it will stay dry.

If it doesnt rain again btwn now and tomorrow morn Im hoping to get outside before work tomorrow and mow the grass before it gets much longer.

this rain is killing me! Havent gotten outside to mow the grass since Sun & Tues of last week! Man it's gonna be difficult but today looks like it may be a sunny day. After work I gotta get out there and at least make an attempt - make take longer than usual but what can ya do?

The sun is out but it's raining. I did make it outside after work for 1.2hrs to mow. Did most of the entire yard, left most of the trim work. You know when you start running pushing a lawnmower that it's time to go inside *** of the rain. Oh well at least after the next 3days of rain I should be able to get through it.

It's great you've been able to keep on track with your workouts even in the hot weather. I had a dream that I was walking on your "gerbil track" lol, not that I know what it looks like but I was there.

Also spent an hour mowing the back & side yards

Our circle is slightly under .2mile around. Actually it's part of a figure 8 - 18houses live on this figure 8. My house is on the larger circle so that's where I keep to. Yes, I really should venture further out but this is where Im comfortable.
There are 11houses on this side of the figure 8. Inside this circle is a field.
Pajammatam who I often walk with lives on the other part of the figure 8.

I havent been keep tracking on here obviously. But I do write it down on paper. I just counted and I have walked enough to cover both this wk and next! I will continue to walk in the mornings while on vaca but will be logging time, not trips around the "gerbil track".

definately time to buckle down again - even what I thought were my good days on vaca were over what I usually have on a bad day at home! my new shorts are feeling tighter - I refuse to go back to my old ones
