My DH and I just got back from a 3 day/4 night trip to Disney, May 18-May 22. We stayed at the Sheraton's Vistana Villages on Intl Dr. The resort was fabulous.
Day 1: we went to Epcot at opening. Did Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Living Lands, Honey I Shrunk (which was awesome :sunny: ), etc and then headed over to Internation Showcase. Did Morrocco, France, Norway, Japan, China, Mexico. Was dissapointed by Maelstrom. Movie at China was great. The park wasn't crowded at all. Headed back to the hotel at 2:30 pm. Went to MK at 6:00pm, was very crowded. Did Splash Mtn & Haunted house, had a ps at Crystal Palace, which was fantastic. Saw the fireworks and then left. The exit was very efficient and smooth, even with the crowds.
Day 2: AK at 8:00 am. Did Kilimanjaro Safaris, Kali Rapids, Tough to be a Bug, Dinosaur, Lion King. Lion King show was awesome. Bonus was in Africa saw some Some East African drummers & singers. V nice. Left at 1:30. Went to MGM at 4:00 pm. Did TOT, Star Tours, Hunchback, Indiana Jones, Movie Ride and Fanstasmic. Fanstasmic was awesome, not to be missed.
Day 3: MK at opening. Did Tommorowland (XS Tech, Buzz), Fantasyland (Pooh, Snow white rides), Mickey's Toontown (Goofy's Barnstormer & Mickey's greeting tent), Fronteirland (Tom Sawyer, Big Thunder Mtn RR (twice!)), Adventureland (Pirates of the Carribean (twice!), Swiss Family). Unfortunately Space Mtn was not working. Great trip, afternoon breaks really helped. Fastpass was awesome.

Sounds like you got a lot accomplished on your trip, afternoon breaks are always good and I am glad you think fastpass is a plus. My family always used fastpass

sbag: Please share more info re your stay at Vistana Villages! I'm thinking about staying there next summer on a timeshare exchange. There is so little info on this resort on Starwood/Vistana's web site and so few photos. I understand that construction is ongoing and only one phase of the resort is open. Are all the public facilities open? I'd appreciate hearing about your likes/dislikes about this resort, along with more of a description of the resort. Thanks in advance.

How was the smoke factor? What parks, what times of day were most affected by the smoke? Thanks.
