Spirit airlines?

Has anyone had experience with Spririt airlines from Chicago Ohare to Orlando? I've been checking rates for trip next spring and they have the best rates at this time but I don't know anyone who has used them. Can anybody help?

I've flown Spirit from New York.

It's a standard low fare airline. In other words, you get what you pay for.

Lotsa budget travelers which can mean some families with noisy kids. Bring your own food and don't expect the tidiest of cabins.

The flights I took were generally on time.

If you do a search on this board, you will find a lengthy recent discussion about Spirit.

It's too early to purchase tickets on this route for next Spring. Fares at this time are falsely inflated.
