Carbs in Soybeans?

Does anyone know how many carbs are in soybeans? Also tofu? I love to eat edamame which are boiled soybeans but my guess is that they may be high in carbs?

(I bought the Dr. Aktins Carb Carb Gram Counter book but the page for Beans, Legumes and Tofu was missing!):eek:

Since I am by no means an expert, I found this for you on the Atkins website:

According to this info from that site, 1/2 cup of edamame is "6.2 grams Net Carbs". Sounds like Atkins was a fan of most soy based foods. HTH.
