PAST--WDW in May 29th to June 2nd (wanna meet??) Updated INDEXED

I am doing something so totally out of the ordinary for me... I am doing a "last minute" trip to WDW at the end of next month. I will be joined by my good buddy Beth (CrazyBoutDisney) and both of us would like to meet up with anyone who's there when we are. So if you'd like to meet up with us, let me know. We will be there from the afternoon of May 29th until afternoon/early evening June 2nd and have almost nothing planned. Let us know if you'd like to meet :)

we'll have been there since the 25th. Doing Illuminations on 5/26.
we'll will be spending most of Friday in the MK [just having breakfast at the rainforest cafe in AK].
Could we work something out in MK on Friday 5/30?

Hi, Phil! Friday at MK sounds great to me. So who is "WE"? Family, I assume? Are there kiddies involved?? I'm a Grandma wanna-be and LOVE watching and chatting with the little ones at WDW!!!

I think Helenabear and I will be at MK on Thurs. afternoon, as well, but we're pretty open to meeting time and place.

Just me and DW this time. First time we'll be on our own since our Honeymoon at WDW in 1974. We will have out DGS with us in spirit. He is 19 months old, and recuperating from his 4th surgical procedure in his very young life. We bought an autugraph book we are going to get filled up for him. We glued a great picture of him on the inside of the front cover. Hope we don't get any grumps at character meets who get upset because Granma & Granpa are getting between the characters and thier kids.

How about Liberty Square about 11AM for our meet?

Philaround, what a sweet thing you are doing for your DGS... I am sure there won't be any grumps around... at least not around us as I love greeting the characters! I'm just a big kid at heart!

Philaround, if you run into any grumps when you're getting that book signed for your DGS, Elaine and I will take care of them!!! That is a beautiful thing you are doing and I applaud it wholeheartedly. Prayers and pixie dust on it's way for him and I will keep him on my list as long as necessary. Hope that recovery is speedy!!

I might be around on 5/31. I was planning on doing the Studios 1/2 day for Star Wars weekends and Epcot the other 1/2 for the Flower and Garden Show.

Sorry all for "ignoring this" but my sister just got married on Saturday and I was very very busy with all that and didn't have much time to DIS at all.

Anyway, it sounds like so far we have a plan for Friday May 30th, 11 am at Liberty Square. Not sure what I'll be wearing at all but I am a short thing and I am sure I'll have lime green somewhere. And I am sure Beth will too!

Michelle, any preference for the 31st? Not sure if we want to go to MGM as that is EE day (we're here to relax and 'sleep in'). Beth and I had talked about ending the day at the Polynesian to watch the fireworks and EWP from the beach there.

Micca, I would love to meet up. Do any of those times work for you? If not let me know and we can try for something else.

Barry, maybe we'll pass you along the way somewhere. Would love to see you again, but if not, I suppose I'll have to catch you at Riddle Con.

For the 31st, I was thinking either Epcot or Animal Kingdom. Any preferences to the two (yep, I am rather indecisive sometimes ;))

no preference here helen. We'll be in transition that day, moving from the Poly to ASMu.

Elaine, I was thinking about Animal Kingdom myself the other day. There is still so much I haven't seen in that park and it closes early so there is always room for EPCOT or whatever else later on. :)

If I'm a CM by then, I'll likely be able to meet you anywhere. :) Otherwise, it'd have to be at downtown Disney or a resort or something.

Angie, let me know how the job thing goes and if by the beginning of next week you aren't a CM yet, we can try to work something out. I am sure that being so close to DD we will want to go at least once.

Hey everyone!!! Dh (tarzanman) and I are planning (still not sure) to be at MK on May 30 too! Not for sure yet, but if we are..hope to see all of you! I will write down May 30 at Liberty Bell 11am....maybe we can do it! Love to meet fellow DISers!!! :)

We are also planning on going to PI the night of the 30th...hit Adventurers Club or something..if anyone is interested! :)

I spoke with Beth and AK on the 31st is good for her too, so I think that seals that one. Meeting at the entrance at opening sound good or do you want to make it a hair later? I am a natural early riser so 9 am usually isn't a big deal for me.

I am definitely counting on Kali River Rapids!!! Thanks for that idea Barry! I might have to bring a waterproof camera for that as well! And I need to get a big ziplock bag for my digital camera too.
