Just an FYI I found another nice hotel in area of Cedar Point. It's caled south Shore Inn. They have suites that can sleep up to 8 people.

We need some planned meeting places and times during RiddleCON so that we don't end up relying too much on technology. Barry Hom and I were supposed to meet at Cedar Point yesterday. As it turns out, Barry's cellular service did not work inside the park and I was unable to contact him. When he got out of the park, he was able to retrieve the voicemails that I had left him and he called me. But I was already halfway home. I'm not sure what service Barry uses, but my Verizon phone worked just fine inside the park. I would hate for us to miss meeting DIS people because we couldn't find each other.

I know it's still a few months away, but it's looking like I won't be able to make it to Riddle-Con after all. :(My oldest daughter will spend her summer working at Philmont Boy Scout Camp in NM, and my husband wants us to drive out there this summer. The only time we can go is Aug. 2-10 - so that shoots the meet for me. Guess I'll have to hope that many of you make it to WDW the week after Thanksgiving!

Having posted that I probably can't go to Riddle-Con...now it's looking like I may be able to go! Our driving trip to CO/NM may not take place, due to DH's dislike for long car trips. There's also a church music conference he would like to attend in PA that conflicts with our vacation dates, so it will just be my two younger kids and me at Cedar Point. :)

As I just mentioned on another thread, we too had to cancel our hotel ressies. DS decided last week he wants to try football and they have a day camp that week thru Friday. So if we come, it will be just Saturday. I am really bummed about this but I can't be too vocal as it will hurt my DS's feelings.:(
