Please think of me between 7PM and 8 PM!! I will be playing in my first women's soccer game!!

Our team is composed of mother's from our childrens schools!! WE haven't even held a practice yet!! Our first opponent is another women's team that is from the same school and we are ALL friendly!! Should be a blast!!

I haven't played soccer since I was a kid...........a long time ago.

Turning 40, eating healthier, losing weight and getting exercise is for me in 2003!!! and beyond...................

Have Fun! What a great way to hang out with the ladies. You know, the kids favorite part of the game is snack time after. What are you guys going to do for refreshments? ;)
Let us know how it goes!

Keep the Faith!

You are so brave! I would love to sign up for a softball team or something, but I have never played sports--other than gym class and I was ALWAYS the last kid picked! Just not brave enough to try.

We (the whole family) are going rock climbing again this Sunday!

Wow!!! Let us know how it goes! I would love to get back to playing organized sports, but I need to get fit first so where I'm not out of breath after a short jog.

I've just started my journey, but hopefully I will get to do this point soon.

Best of luck to you! Hope you scored a GOOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLL!!!!!

I will keep you in my thoughts tonight when you are playing Rosemary. Good luck. :)

It should be lots of fun. I have a friend that plays indoor soccer and she loves it. Great excercise!

Thanks for all your support!!!

I am nervous but I know we will have fun. WE are in it for the fun and exercise, not necessarily to win.......although a win would be nice. We play every Friday night for the next 8 weeks!!! I made the committment and will keep it..........regardless of how I feel in the morning!! LOL!!!

Ooops. Sorry Rosemary I just now saw this. I suppose it's a tad late for good luck pd or prayers for no ambulance time tonight.

How did it go? No injuries, I hope.

I really admire you for doing this, you are just so determined and doing so well.

Well, we lost 12 to 2 but I had a BLAST!!! It was so much fun and boy did I get a work out!!

I had an assist for one of our 2 goals!! I took some Ibuprofen before going to bed last night and woke up at 3:30 and had to take some more! Today I am sore but it is a good sore!!

If any of you have an opportunity to join a team like this I say Go For It! It is just so much fun. We had lots of laughs and got alot of exercise!! WE also went out to celebrate and I enjoyed my Michelob Ultra!!!

Thanks for all your support. You know where I will be for the next 7 Friday nights!!! Playing Soccer...........this is a new meaning to the name Soccer MOM!!

Wow, that sounds like such a blast! I used to play volleyball, when I was much younger ( in my 20's). Now I think I'd have to play on the "very old and out of breath" league.:o

I think you're very brave and I'm happy you're having such a great time!

It doesn't matter if you win or lose, it's how you play the game! And it sounds like you had a HECK of a great time out there on that field! Congrats on your assist! That is awesome!!!!

Thanks for the update. You are making me think I want to take up a sport too. DH is a golf nut....hmmmm. This is good food for thought! I never would have considered golfing before, but it sounds appealing. Rosemary, you are certainly inspiring!!!! :) Keep up the great work!!!
