Would you/have you brought binnoculars to Animal Kingdom? Just wondering if it would be worthwhile to lug one extra thing. Thanks!!

We loved AK and never once gave binoculars a thought while we were there, so I guess our answer would be no, although i'm sure they would enhance your viewing of the animals even further. The Safari is just incredible - so are the exploration trails and we felt so close to the animals. We were able to get very nice pictures with just a point and shoot camera.

I took along a really nice, small pair, packed in the diaper bag......never thought to pull them out and use them while at AK :o even though that was the very reason I had packed them  I think it would be great for looking at the detail on the Tree and for on the Safari, if you can remember to pull them out :p

We have found binoculars a must for Animal Kingdom. We have a pair of Leica binocs and when you look through them at the Tree of Life - it really makes a difference in seeing all the carved animals. The binocs also help on the safari - you can see animals that are in hidden areas when others cannot.
