View Full Version : OK I did the workout for the day....

I downloaded a whole bunch of oldies last night and today I'm dancing my life away while I do my housework, good thing I don't have neighbors next to me or they would call the cops on me for loud music.
Do you ever do that?? let me tell you, it's a good workout, and try to go up and down the stairs not loosing the rythm.

Yep...I do that...sometimes while I wash the car too!!! Except not to oldies...I usually put on good 'ol Rock and Roll....Aerosmith, Bon Jovi...even Billy Joel. Exercise is Exercise...WTG!!!!

What exactly do you consider an "oldie", Tracy? I think those performers you just mentioned have some really good music that's 20 years old, I think that would qualify as an oldie :teeth:

I'm older than dirt my oldies may be different from your oldies :)

I find "rock & roll" (the kind Tracy listed) music gives me energy I didn't even know I had. It keeps you moving to the beat. As long as I am not playing music in the middle of the night who is going to complain.

OOOH, I did that this morning too! Good for you. doesn't it feel great? Not only do we get our house work done, but we move a bit more, AND we get energized just by hearing the great music. I love to do that with 80's music. I am still stuck in time wharp and can't seem to leave the era of big hair, bangle bracelets, and punk clothes!

Housework....what's housework?!?!?! It sounds vaguely familiar, but I spend so much time on this board that I seem to have forgotten what it is. Can someone please refresh my memory? :eek: Whatever it is- good for you for movin' and groovin'!

Sorry---but I can't bring myself to think of 80's music of "oldies" yet!!! lol. My children remind me that it is everyday though!!

Too me I still think of an "oldie" as a hit from the 50's and 60's.!!!
