Port day Activites for kids???

does disney crusie have activities for the kids during port days?
we have never been on the Disney boat and have 6&8 yr old boys who would not be cooperative to take into port for shopping/ tours.
any advice would be appreciated!

Hi June.....the children can stay in the day camp while you go ashore. They will give you a pager to carry with you so they can alert you if they need you. If your kids are like my son, you will probably see very little of them. There are lots of programmed things to do on board during Port days. And the counselors are superb
