Hello!

I'm planning a special Disney b-day cruise for DD's 9th birthday. It'll be me DD-9 & DS-10 and I have a few questions.

What is the weather like at the end of Feb.? Is it warm enough to swim & wear shorts?

I definately want a verandah room. But which is better, a regular verandah or a navigator's verandah? Is the navigator's verandah completly enclosed or do you get some air?

Last thing, do they do anything special for birthday's on the cruise?? Is there anyway to have a gift basket waiting in our room upon arrival??

Thanks in advance for the help!

Come join us 2/21/04 Eastern. We cruised this same week this past year. It was cool leaving Port Canaveral(cold front coming thru) but the rest of the week it was in the 80's every day and fantastic. My 2 DS's(8 &4) were in the pool all week.

My DS turned 8 during this cruise. They bring a cake and the wait staff sings at your dinner table that night. It was great. They also do something special at the club's but he didn't go that day as we were so busy.

Disney does offer gifts to be waiting in your room as does a place called theperfectgift.com. I'm sure someone can provide the web address as I'm not positive on the site address. We had a gift from DCL in the room and the boys loved it.

Hope to see you on the Magic.
