Last minute reservations

When is the latest day we can make reservations using points? We are thinking of making a quick trip to WDW this weekend. Thanks.

You can call the very day of check-in and make reservations, if there's availability -- we did this once for Vero.

There "used" to be a restriction that you had to make reservations for the Disney (non-DVC) resorts at least a week in advance - I don't know if this still holds, or not, though... Anyone?

Howdy neighbor...from another Buckeye!!!!!

We got a 2BR at OKW reserved 2 weeks prior to our trip. It was our first DVC vacation and we had a BLAST!!!

I have read posts from people who have used points the same day they called MS.

I hope you find something available and have a great trip. Do be sure to take some of our rain down with you. They sure do need it more than we do!!

(of course it's ok if it only rains there between midnight and 6am until it is time for you to return home)

Well, we were able to get a 1 BDR preferred at BWV. We were hoping for a studio, but this was the only one available for all three resorts. We ended up adding on 112 points at VWL to cover this trip. Turns out to be a pretty expensive little getaway!

Mike, hi fellow buckeye! As much as I want it to stop raining, I will pass on taking it with us. Seeing what the forecast is here, it seems we picked a good weekend to go. I enjoyed reading your OKW trip report. Sounds like you had a great time! We can't wait for our first DVC trip this weekend.

we showed up with NO RESERVATIONS at all
just went and said if it works it works if it doesnt we will stay some other resort , we found out that there is some one at the boardwalk that can access your info .. and they did happen to have a one bed room at okw wanted a studio but hey what the heck it does work... peter ;)
