For those of you on Weight Watchers, when you get the munchies, what do you snack on that is low in points?

I am trying to keep celery, carrots, crunchy veg's washed and ready to eat in the frig. It seems that the crunching helps. I also will put 24 butter pretzels in a snack bag (2 pts) and keep those to snack on throughout the day. Good Luck!

Let's see.....

I *love* Pria bars for 2 pts (esp. Chocolate Peanut Crunch and French Vanilla Crisp), plus they count as a milk serving!

Jello FF Chocolate Pudding Cups are yummy (even my dh loves 'em!) and only 2 pts.

Trader Joe's fruit leather is delicious and perfect for a sweet craving -- all natural and 2 pts

A little can of mandarin oranges -- 1 or 2 pts depending on how much you eat.

Any fruit: Apples, bananas (a med. banana w/1 Tbsp Jif peanut butter is 4 pts and very filling), oranges, grapes, melon cut into chunks, prunes

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Quaker Rice Cakes - I'm out of them but I *think* they're 1 or 1.5 pts each

Chocolate Chip Rumbly Grahams - 3 pts for 23 (I never eat 23 at once, though)

A big ol' soft Superpretzel w/mustard is 3 pts :)

Don't forget Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches! Most are 2 points, a few are 3 points each.

And fat-free saltines -- 7 are just one point!

I also like the WW "just 2 points" fruit and oat bars. While they're probably NOT the tastiest thing in the world, they do fill you up and they're kind of sweet -- not JUST cardboard tasting. ;)

Quaker "Quakes", sour cream and onion flavor. They're rice cake sort-of things, but taste whole lot better. I eat them when I want chips. 10 of them are 2 points.

Fudgsicle No Sugar Added bars- 1 point, and very fudgy!

Klondike Slim-A- Bear Ice Cream Sandwiches- chocolate or vanilla- 2 pts

When I am having a chocolate attack...
4 mini Tootsie Rolls - 1 pt

I love those Skinny Cows! Vanilla is my favorite so far, over chocolate and mint. I have heard that the Klondike sandwiches are as good, but less expensive. Is that true? I really like saying I am having a SKIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNY Cow though. ;)

Fruit - 1 cup of strawberries, pear, apple, orange. 1 pt each. I *love* fruit!

Popcorn Cakes. 1 for 1 pt. Just salty and crunchy enough for me.

FYI....They are the long slender popsicles not the big fruit bars. I don't know how many points the fruit bars are but they are probably not too bad.

Terry:

I've tried the Slim-a-Bears and don't think they're nearly as good as Skinny Cows -- YMMV, of course! ;) BTW, did you know if you sign up at the Skinny Cow website they occasionally send out a newsletter and some coupons? :)

Also, for anyone who cares, I realized I listed the Trader Joe's fruit leather for 2 pts -- they're actually only 1. :teeth:

Thanks for the FYI, Becka. I was thinking of the fruit bars. I will have to look for the fruit popsicles. I haven't noticed those before.

Annie - which kind of calcium chew are you taking? I have seen TV ads for a chocolate one that looks yummy! I would take those over my tablets!

I will have to go to the Skinny Cow website and sign up! Thanks for the tip, Amy! I love those Skinny Cows!

On the topic of snacks... anyone know how much a single Rolo costs in points? There are some in the other room that are beyond calling my name. They are SCREAMING for me! LOL! I can't find any nutritional information on Rolos and I have some extra points today!

OK I lied - It is not the Dole brand that I have. I looked in my freezer and they are actually Edy's brand fruit bars. They are just as good IMHO and at just 1 pt. you can't beat 'em. :)

The internet ROCKS!!

3 Rolos are 90 calories, 2.5 g fat.

I don't have my slider-thingy handy, but that looks like 2 points for 3 pieces!

The last few days I have been eating marshmellow peeps. The WW leader made a big mistake telling us that 5 peeps were only 1 point!!! Well, I love those things and thought I wouldn't be able to have them so I am a very happy WW person right now!!!

I just found a ranch dressing mix that is called Fiesta dip. It is spicy, and I love it with my veggies. Mix it up with whatever you use for dipping. Spicy tends to make me feel full. And it tastes good with peppers, I usually don't eat those, but now with this dip I add in more veggies.

How about the WW bars for 2 pts! That double chocolate fudgey flavor is takes so long to chew, they're great! Sorry, can't remember the official flavor name, but it's chocolate outside and in on the pic on the box. Not as good as a Krave bar, 4 pts. and also twice the size.

On the salsa, just beware because our leader told us although its zero points if you eat more than one serving you have to start counting the points because it does have calories.

I liked to pan fry (no butter or anything) two pieces of ham lunch meat with a slice of 1 pt. 2% cheese in between the ham. The cheese kind of melts and the ham is warm. Its 3 pts. and really yummy and filling.

I love to buy the Kellogg's variety pack with the 10 boxes. All of them have 2 points per box, except for the corn flakes and Special K which have 1 point for the box. I found a new snack that I really like. I *love* baked chips, but do not like consuming the trans-fats from the hydrogenated oils. My mom introduced me to Terra Chips, which are made from root vegetables and are delicious!! They have the crunch that I crave and they *don't* have hydrogenated oils! 3 points for 10 large chips. :)

Microwave popcorn (low fat forgot brand) with two tsps melted Bummel & Brown spread - 3 pts.

15 Garcia's tortilla chips - 2 pts.

This thread is funny to read, because you can tell who has the sweet tooth and who has the salty tooth. He-he.

I love those Miss Merguine Cookies. If you get the smaller ones, it's like 8 for 2 points.

Skinny Stix are good two.

You can also mix a can of crushed pineapple with FF Cool Whip and refrigerate. It becomes thick and is 2 pts/cup. One tip, you might want to drain some of the pineapple juice out or it won't thicken.
