We are looking for the cheapest possible hotel for July 20. We are driving in a day early because of plans our first night. We want to be able to sleep (a must) and swim that day. No perks necessary, but always welcome :)

There are 2 kids in the party. I don't require 4 stars, but I do hope to avoid places that are dirty and/or unsafe.

Thanks in advance.

WE ARE STAYING AT THE COMFORT SUITES RESORT MAINGATE EAST. THE PRICE IS 58.50 A NITE. THAT IS THE INTERNET RATE. WE GET A DELUXE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. THEY HAVE BUSES TO ALL THE PARKS. THE HOTEL IS REALLY NICE. AND I GOT SOME POSITIVE FEEDBACK ON THIS BOARD.

I have used Priceline before, but I am a little leery of trying it for this because we want to guarantee a swimming pool and I know there are some really bad hotels in the Orlando area, and don't know how to guarantee the first and avoid the other using Priceline. If you have any ideas, I'd be glad to hear them.

A question: I found a price of $39.90 for the Quality Inn Maingate at Hotelkingdom.com. Does anyone have any info in this hotel? Is the price good, or average? Thanks.

If you choose this hotel, go to :
http://www.guestprivileges.com/
and sign up for guest privileges, which is Choice hotels frequent stay program. It's free. As a member, you qualify for the Choice Business (Corporate) rate, which is $39.00 at this hotel if booked through www.hotelchoice.com

I've never stayed at this Quality Inn, but I have drove by and it looks decent.
