EPCOT
1. there's a cart in front of Ellen's Energy Adventure - GREAT coffee!

2. Just before you hit England - if you are traveling from the left to right side of WS - there's a cart - looks just like the one in front of EEA!

MGM
1. Starring Rolls - great little bakery

2. cart outside HM - heard this is gone though.

MK
1. I enjoy the regular coffee from carts on Main Street in a pinch but...

2. BEST is at Sleepy Hollow (my FI proposed to me there over a cup a coffee! heheh)

DAK
never had coffee here I don't think - always too damn hot!

but the BEST coffee drink in the WORLD we got in Downtown Disney - it's just down the street from Disney Quest - I forget the name of the place and the coffee itself - but it was to DIE for. It was more a coffee milkshake - but it was delicious! Even FI loved it and he HATES cold coffee.

I'll search around and try to find the name of the place for ya

This is good info. cause the coffee they serve at the resorts is AWFUL!! Hopefully Disney won't renew the Nescafe' contract: it's the worst coffee I've ever had. I usually drink Mountain Dew in the mornings instead of coffee when at Disney resorts!! Need to get the caffeine somehow.

If you REALLY love good coffee, treat yourself to a 100% Kona Coffee Press Pot at the Kona Cafe in the Polynesian. We have never had better coffee anywhere.

Specialty coffee at WDW has really improved over the past few years. I can remember going into the Boardwalk Bakery and ordering a mocha. The server started steaming chocolate milk at the expresso machine! Yck!

There is a good place on the Boardwalk called Java Joes. The trick is catching them when they're open.

Good luck!

Another vote for Press pot Kona Coffee in the Poly. the best coffee - anywhere. You can buy the Kona coffee too - $40.00 per lb and they will ship it to you home!

It's not there anymore. Closed it and renovated to a Pretzel and Ice Cream store.

Hands down, the best coffee in WDW is at the Kona Cafe at the Poly! We usually go there for breakfast on our MK day. We'll go to the MK (early entry) and stay til the crowds get bad (around 10:00 or so) then take the monorail over to the Poly for a nice leisurely breakfast & coffee!

Luvinit: People are always raving about Dunkin Donuts coffee, so a couple of months we stopped just so I could try it. I thought it was awful!! It tasted really burnt (maybe it's French Roast?). And it was a fresh pot! Didn't even come close to the coffee served at some of our local coffee spots (Caribou Coffee is the best!) Isn't it funny how people's tastes are so different? :p

WHAT?!?!?!?!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

damnit...that was the best place to get a beverage after DisneyQuest.

Well - thanks for the heads-up! Sorry I gave out dated info...last time I was at the world was Dec 01.

I'm an east coaster who lives and dies for Dunkin Donuts coffee. If I'm traveling more than a half hour - I insist on having a DD coffee in the car with me. I guess everyone's tastes ARE different - for example - I would take a DD coffee over a regular Starbucks coffee anyday - it's cheaper and tastes "less burnt" to me. :) However - I do like the speciality coffees at Starbucks - mochas/machiatos/capp. etc...but my wallet doesn't. :)

KONA, KONA, KONA!

:bounce:

But the truly best coffee at WDW is found every morning at my camper on FW when I am there. We use Kona, too, but 40 bucks a pound? WOW:eek: I only pay about 15 bucks a pound. Stop by if you're in town, but better be early - the pot's on about 5 AM!

Actually, that wonderful Kona Coffee is 40 bucks for 12 ounces. I thought I was buying pound bags until I got home and noticed the weight. We rationed it (1 bag 100% Kona, 2 bags blend) and it lasted for a few months. Gotta go back soon!!

Another thumbs down for Dunkin Donuts Coffee. My Hubby likes it, but I think it tastes burnt and watery at the same time.

Ghirardelli makes an excellent chocolate coffee (not chemicals, they coat beans in their cocoa) that is especially good when blended with columbian.

We are also taking our own coffee this time. A couple of years ago I got hooked on this coffee from Key West while we were there on vacation. It's called Baby's Coffee--and I have to have my Fausto's Palace Blend every morning!;) I forgot to pack it for our last trip---the coffee at BWI InnKeepers Club was pretty ok though!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

The best is, of course, Kona coffee at the Poly.

I vote for the pressed pots at Kona and Boma also. If you like lattes...Le Cellier makes a good latte.

Wetzel's Pretzels is open at Downtown Disney West Side
Date: 04/07/2003

Guests at Downtown Disney West Side are now able to enjoy eight varieties of hand-rolled, -dipped and -baked pretzels at Wetzel's Pretzels, a new shop in the location formerly occupied by Forty Thirst Street.

Greatful garlic, cheese melt-down, almond crunch and sinful cinnamon are among the pretzel varieties. Also available are four dipping sauces, the Wetzel Dog (a pretzel-wrapped hot dog) and a variety of drinks, including fresh-squeezed lemonade.

Wetzel's Pretzels also features eight varieties of Häagen Dazs Ice Cream available in cones, cups, shakes, or dazzlers, which are similar to banana splits.

A satellite location also is open near the Dock Stage at the Downtown Disney Marketplace.

With so many of us "coffee snobs" out here, how does WDW get away with serving the "coffee flavored product" (great description madcoco!) at the resorts? It seems so out of character for Disney!

To make matters worse, my DW, who will not touch a cup of coffee, doesn't believe there is a significant difference between different kinds of coffee. So getting her to agree to go out of the way to get a decent cup of coffee is definitely a challenge!

manchurianbrownbearFeel your pain. My wife won't touch coffee either but iced tea is another story. She deals with the coffee habit I deal with the tea habit. LOL
