Who's coming this week??

Our pin meets are held on the second Saturday of each month (04/12/03) at the Westfarms Mall in Farmington, CT. We meet under the escalators in front of the Rainforest Cafe from 3:00pm until closing.

I'm not going to make this one. I'm headed South to Parkhopper's meet and to meet my cousin's 8 month old son for the first time!! See you all in May!!

I'll be there and I think I'm going to come a little early. Maybe I can avoid the worst of the parking lot madhouse.

...and we plan to be there - with Tyler - aged 4, in tow!! Or will he be towing us? Have some pins to give out which have been waiting for a while in my Disney bag, they need their new homes!
So, we will be there for a short while but we will plan to be there. Caroline

Looking forward to seeing everyone, and the two new faces that will be joining us. HappybirthdayKat and Sandra. This should be fun, having another initiation.
Dom don't forget to bring the motor oil, and Cynthia, you still have that oversized hamster wheel I hope.... lol

Just loaded the pins into the trunk of the car. I'll be heading off soon. Can't wait to see everyone.

Hello,

Can you tell me where Farmington is? I've never heard of it. I'm realtively close to Danbury, and would like to attend a future meet if it's not too far.

We have our meets every 2nd Saturday of the month. There are two people who come from Danbury, one from Wilton, a family from Shelton and I come from Bpt.
Some of the others live closer to the mall, but Caroline comes from MA, and we have some who come from NY. Its fun.
Ok, to get to the mall from Danbury.

Take I-84 straight through. When you get to West Hartford look for the Corbin's Corner exit, I think it is exit 40. Take a right at the end of the ramp and head into the mall parking lot. It takes forever to find a parking spot, that mall is so crowded.
When you get there head to the Rainforest Cafe and go under the escalator. We have a great little seating area there and we are hidden from the pin hating security.

well, I am sorry to say, I have missed my first pin meet and am very bummed out about it. However, I am still trying to get myself together for a 5am departure Thursday! I shouldn't even be sitting here on the computer. And when I DO get to a pin meet, which will probably be June 14(?) I will have many more good traders from my upcoming trip. I hope you all had a wonderful time and Peggie, I will be on the lookout for any cool DCL mickey pins.
