MK on a Friday (and it's e-ride night) - how crowded?

We're arriving on a Friday this year. We usually do Epcot first, but that means we won't hit MK til Sunday and I'm not sure I can wait that long.

How are the crowds at MK on a Friday afternoon? It's May 30th and there is an e-ride scheduled that night. Will that make the park more crowded? I know that's only 5,000 or so people.

I know I did read somewhere that Friday is a travel day for some people. Opinions, please!!!:)
