Renting Points

I am considering buying a resale with a significant number of banked points. I will not be able to use about 200 points this year. The additional banked points will be great for next year. How easy is it to rent this number of points by August?

I rent my points for $12.50 each and have more demand than I can supply.

It's kind of a two part question....can you find someone to rent the points and can you get the reservation for them to use the points.

Also be careful of the fact that Disney has all kinds of room specials going on right now. To rent the points at the 11 month window for a busy season is easier than renting them for short notice against Disney's deeply discounted room rates that they have this summer. good luck.

Have you considered depositing a week with II. That would give you two more years in which to spend a week at another II property?

I just went through the same situation you are faced with, so I do have some background on the issue of renting or going with II.
