moderate & deluxe hotel soaps & shampoo?

Hi,

I am going on a split stay in October at the Port Orleans FQ and the contemporary.

I have never stayed at anything but the all stars resorts , and I know all they give you as far as soap or any kind of toiletries are one bar of soap and the wall dispenser for the conditioner/shampoo.

What should I expect to get at POFQ and CR? Do they give you more? So I will know what I have to pack.

At the moderates they give you 2 bars of soap, a bottle each of shampoo and conditioner.

I've stayed at most of the deluxes (except Contemporary & WL) and the only one with special toiletries was Grand Floridian.

thanks to both of you for the answers... Just one more question at the deluxe resorts do you get a tooth brush or do you just get the same as the moderate, 2 soap shamp, and cond?

I've never seen a toothbrush, but I remember GF has special hand lotion and a sewing box (I keep it in my desk at work).

WL - Soap, Shampoo, Shower Cap - pretty much it

All the deluxes we've stayed in have had soap, shampoo, lotion and shower cap.

The moderates have had soap and shampoo.

Neither of the deluxes we've stayed in -- yc and poly -- have had conditioner.

Only time you get conditioner and toothbrushes is in concierge...and even that varies from resort to resort.

BC has lotion, 1 body soap, 1 facial soap, shower cap and shampoo/conditioner combo.

We just stayed AKL Concierge 3/21-3/24 and we had soap, shower cap, lotion, and a shampoo/conditioner combo. We might have been able to ask for more, but we had brought our own toiletries. HTH!

Our we the only family that brings our own??? My DS and DH have sensitive skin, and we have our favorite hair care procucts. We never use the free stuff. Is this why I have so many bags???

A little off the subject, but we bring home any of the toiletries that we don't use and give them to the local shelters for the homeless or the abused. They are very happy to have them.

I have also read on these boards or on Debs site that there is a place you can send extra soap for gifts for children with cancer, or something like that. I will probably do something like this this year upon our return. I had some extra soap from my trip several years ago and I used it as a "soap award" in my classroom. My seniors in high school thought it was too cool.
