To EE or Not to EE, That is the Question . .

Okay..my first trip to WDW, have been hearing so many mixed things about using Early Entry so I thought I'd just get some opinions...let's see if I can do this right (my first poll so bare with me!!)

Get in early and get out - while the gettin's good! We leave at about 11:00 for lunch and pool time.:D

We also take advantage of EE. We leave to go do other things when the park starts to get to crowded. It makes the day much more enjoyable when you can do your favorites withouth the long wait.

DO NOT USE EE! (That gives people like me who do use it a chance to have less people in the park! ) hee hee SLEEP IN!!! DON'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE EE!! NEVERMIND MISSING ALL THE GREAT RIDES AND GETTING MOST OF THE GOOD STUFF DONE BY 11:00 AM! SLEEP IN!!!! (Is this subliminal message getting through yet?)


Of course I am being sarcastic. EE is the best thing going. People who don't take advantage of it don't know what they are missing. You can get in - ride all the great rides, seriously be almost done with them by 11:00 am and then be on your way back to hotel for lunch and swim and nap, or be on your way to another park.

First trip: used EE everyday, it was great but we were done in by late afternoon whether we took a swim break or not!

Second trip: during the time the EE was replaced by CC. We loved it! We were able to sleep in a bit in the am and still make park openings (which were 9 and 10 am) and do all the evening shows and parades!

Next trip: we plan to do park openings at non-EE parks.

We only do EE at MK. That's the only park that really needs it for my family. MGM and Epcot just don't have enough things open for us to justify doing EE there. Have yet to do an EE at AK as AK was just added to the EE lineup last year. I might try AK if the safari ride was open during EE.

we do ee and usually stay all day. we find that being in the park early keeps us ahead of the crowd all day.

I don't do EE because it's just too early for me to get up (esp. with the 3 hour time zone difference.) My strategy is to attend the parks Non-EE days but I do make sure I get there right when the parks open in order to beat the crowds--except in the off-season (like early December) I don't even bother getting there at opening time because the crowds are usually fairly light. I like to sleep in and relax! This has worked well for me.
