Has anyone had any experience with Transtar Shuttles? If so what did you think? How do they compare to mears?
Thanks

and the service was fanatstic all the way around. We used them last year while at Disney for a price of $80 round trip.

The first trip was during arrival day from the airport to our hotel; then again used them to go back to the airport two days later to pick up a rental car we had booked.

The driver was professional, friendly, and was careful with our luggage. When we were dropped back off at the airport to pick up our rental car, the driver even offered to write down directions for getting back to our hotel if needed.

I was very pleased with my entire experience with them, highly reccommend them to visitors needing Orlando airport ground transportation, and I will definitely use them again in a heartbeat.

Are we talking about the same type of service here? Mears is not a private service limited to your party. I think deena is talking about a private service, or are you?

our private party only; we simultaneously rode with two other sets of passengers who were also dropped off at their various hotels in addition to us.

They were located right down on the lower ground transportation level along with other miscellaneous shuttles such as Mears etc. that anyone at all in general could use on a purely walk-up basis.

Their website is www.transtar1.com We used them just for regular round trip shuttle bus transport from the Orlando airport. We didn't make any advanced reservations prior to arrival; we just hopped on the shuttle along with other passengers after landing.

I guess the reason I thought what I did is because you quoted a total roundtrip price, not a per person roundtrip price. Private services charge a single price and Mears (and obviously Transtar) charge a per person price.
