We've reserved a full-size thru National (EA). According to National's website, this is a Buick Regal. Has anyone rented/driven one and if so, how roomy is the interior and the trunk. There are five of us, including a tall teenager! Hoping we can find something bigger on EA, but if not, I want to be mentally prepared!

the buick regal is a very roomy vehicle with large trunk space and in orlando ....usually leather seats....the head room is good...stay clear of the grand prix ...limited head room

if you get lucky they may have the next one up....the lesabre which is very similar in options but has a larger trunk space ( we had one from nationa in los angeles on our trip there may 1 -12 )...it was noted as a premium car but was on the emerald aisle in los angeles

Thanks for the info, lawgs. Looks like we'd fit - the trunk space was my major concern. We have rented the Le Sabre twice there, and I agree it's a very roomy car. Hoping one will be on the EA. Thanks again!

You may also want to consider a Chevy Impala if they have one on the lot at the time you arrive, but don't have a LeSabre. It has a larger trunk than even the LaSabre has at 18.6 cu feet as opposed to 18.0 on the LeSabre, 16.7 on the Regal and 16.0 on the Grand Prix. The Impala also has more rear legroom (almost 2 inches more) than both the Regal and the GP, but (of course) less than the LeSabre. It does have slightly less headroom in the rear seat area then the Regal (only about 1/2 an inch) though.

Just one more thing to keep in mind ;)
