.....today.
They were showing the first part of the Disney Wedding. It reminded me when we went to get our marraige license they gave us a newlyweds package too - ours also had kitchen roll and washing up liquid in it!!
Tomorrow is the wedding at The Wedding Pavillion and the bride is having Cinderella's Coach to take her there - can't wait for this :D

Kaylee I caught some of it from sheer luck - I saw it from the wedding pavilion onwards. It must have started at 11.30am?
There was some great film of MK! It looked really empty though.

...... just checked tomorrow's schedule on-line and it is to be shown at 11.30am (unless they have to make a prog change because of news reports ). I'll set the video and hope for the best.

Did you all see the wedding then???
The coach was gorgeous wasn't it. The reason we didn't pick the Wedding Pavillion was because we thought it would look to empty and the programme really showed that. I have seen weddings when it is full and it really add's to the atmosphere.
I wasn't too impressed with the GF room's I thought they would be more luxurious. But i do love the grounds and lobby of the GF.
The bride and groom looked gorgeous, I wonder where there reception was? I don't think they are going to show anymore on them.
What did you all think??

Well the Pavilion did look a little roomy and they had more guests than I think I would have if I ever got married out there.
I loved the coach :-)
It must have cost a fortune - Kaylee if I ever get married in WDW I'll have to come to the West Country for a private wedding meet ;-)

I enjoyed it! ( I doubt this series would hold the interest of anyone who isn't into Florida and WDW though).
I came over 'all peculiar' just seeing the GF grounds etc. The coach looked really enchanting and ladies, the dress ! Beautiful! Then the bugler hit a bum note and I started to giggle ;)
I was impressed with Dana Allen, quietly and capably helping them all with their outfits etc - she must have had quite a calming effect on the wedding party.

We used the 'Carolyn Allen' store for DH suit - we didn't have dana though! They were very good.
The dress was beautiful wasn't it Shirley :D I want a vow renewal now LOL!!

where did you have your wedding then Kaylee? For some reason, I had assumed you had also used the wedding pavilion.

It was at Sunst Pointe at the Polynesian Resort. Overlooking the lagoon with Cinderella's Castle in the background (somewhere ;) LOL)
Perfect for the few guests we had.

I have missed this all week due to the ever changing schedules and the extended war coverage.
My sister saw about ten minutes of it yesterday though and also thought the same about the emptiness of the room.
I don't suppsoe it would be a bad idea if there were TWO rooms at the wedding pavillion - eg. the one they have now, plus a smaller room.
Those with lots of guests could use the larger room, whilst those with fewer guests could use the smaller room.
Surely this would make the wedding feel more cosy??
On another note, DS promised 13yo niece that she could have her wedding there if she were to get married.
Also promised her the "Cinderella coach and a pink princess dress"!!! (LOL)

Why oh why do i keep missing this programme?????
Firstly, i kept setting the vid for 12.30 - not knowing what time the schedules would put it on.
then I set the video for 11.30 - since this has been the new scheduled time for the last couple of weeks.
Then BBC go and put the darn thing on at 12.00
Aaargh!!! Am i ever going to be able to see any episodes of this series???

JUST WHAT TIME EXACTLY IS THIS PROGRAMME ON???
Would you believe i missed it agian yesterday?
I set the video for 12.00 and got Bargain Hunt -- today i havnt even bothered.
I get the feeling that people are going to tell me to set the video to record from 11.00 to 12.30, and i should get it!
However, my video recorder does not work like this - it will not record if it doesn't recognise a whole programme beginning and ending at the exact time.
So this is not an option, plus there is no one in at home all day that could just switch the video on at the correct time, so i have to do the pre-setting thing!
I've been missing a lot of other stuff lately due becauseof the vidoe problem, and war meaning rescheduling listings.
Now i'm not complaining about it, as it's important we know whats going on, but surely there needs to be time to put other stuff on tv, as opposed to just wall to wall war coverage?

I enjoyed this series, pity it wasn't on at a better time. It was like the Seaworld programme that they scheduled at 9.30am!!!

I really got into this series.
I think we watched all but a couple of them. I just set the video from 10:30 to 2:30 every day.
The only disappointing thing about it was that they seem to make it sound so simple to move out to Florida. I don't think that they mentioned once the fact that you have to buy a business to stay permanently.
They made it sound like you could just pack your bags and go.
If it were that simple I wouldn't be here now!

I've got hooked on a programme on UKbright ideas called a house in Florida. It reports mainly on a family who have moved to Conch Key. They've bought a motel which they are doing up - it certainly seems very hard work.

I like that programme too Libby.
I'm sorry to say I too only caught the last episode of Escape to the sun. How long had it been on? My mother in law very helpfully said to me to-day (the day after the last one), "oh I could have taped it for you, I watched all of them." Thanks alot mother in law, she didn't even bother to tell me that it was on, and she knows all about my Florida obsession!

If you have Freeview Digital, there is a similar series on Uk BrightIdeas called Florida House, which covers a variety of Florida things. It is on two or three times a day and is worth catching.:D
