View Full Version : Spring comes slowly here in Chicago...but some signs of hope

Spring is normally very stubborn about arriving here. Today was almost 70..that means it will be 30 in a day or so:rolleyes:
I ran outside and found a few signs of hope here

My red maple is normally slow too, compared to the elms in the area...but she is budding! :)

Hang in there folks spring is coming! :)

Glad to see that spring is making it's way north. The picture of the red maple branches against the blue sky is very pretty. :)

What are your early bulbs - daffodils? They have a reddish hue to them.

Hope to see more pictures later when they are in bloom!

It's always nice to see you here, Patrick. :) The weather has been mild here also, and I know what you mean, we'll probably get snow next week! ;) :)
