Epcot May Hours

I received a phone call from Disney Reservations regarding a PS I had for the end of May at Garden Grill. Originally, the PS was for 7:40 and they had moved it up to 6:40.

The reason was because Disney is cutting May hours. However, when I asked what the park hours would be, the CM did not know. I suspect that Future World will only be open till 7pm.

One can only speculate they are expecting low attendance. I am going in May and ould like to see the hours posted soon.

You will enjoy your dinner at Garden Grill. It is one of our favorites.

Future World has closed at 7:00pm for a long time (except Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Innoventions, Honey I Shrunk). The rumor is that it's going to start closing at 6:00pm.

Actually the 6PM closing time is not a rumor. It's closing at that time during portions of both March & April.

I don't know why that surprises me so. Just by reading these boards it sounds like everyone has a trip planned at some point in May. I know that we are a little group but I just thought that maybe it was a trend of upward attendance as we approached the summer and travel season. O well, we still will enjoy the magic.

I will be at WDW the first two weeks of May and I got a call yesterday as well. I had a PS for Rose and Crown for lunch at 11:30 and they moved it to 12:00. This really doesn't affect me at all but it does show how they are attempting to cut costs here and there.
