I am looking for facts, I have talked to a CM (or whatever they are called at the Swan) and he said that snacks were served at lunch time. I have read so many different things on the net about this and want to know for sure:)
Is there anything served for lunch?
What types of food is offered in the evening?
Thanks!

Our last trip there was in Aug. so it has been awhile. I don't remember having any lunch food. There was a really nice breakfast with all types of pastry etc. They had "happy hour" type food later in the evening and there was water and soda all day. And really great cookies in the evening. We were not at the hotel much at lunch time so maybe we just missed the food then. I'm sure someone has been there since we were that can tell you more. The Club level at the Swan is so nice. Mama T really went out of her way to make us enjoy our trip.:)

Definitely no lunch. Lovely breakfast spread, early evening appetizers, cookies later in the evening and drinks.

Our experience was the same as ozziewags. One day we came back to the hotel mid-day and stopped by the lounge just to see if anything was being served. Mama T was there cleaning up and offered to get us some cold soda. She is so sweet!

Hello All!!!
We are staying at the SWAN in April, and would really like to be able to use the CLUB LEVEL!!
How many points do you need? We just got our AMEX (spg) and are supposed to get 5000 ppoints upon first purchase, so I am hoping they come thru!!! But my BIG questions is, HOW DO you GET to be ABLE to USE the Club Level?????
Thanks so much!! We are so excited to be able to stay at the SWAN!!!! I saw it years ago when it was first built, and I have always DREAMED of staing there and soon it will come true!!!!!

We are paying $20-30 (can't remember) extra a night for it.

Yes you can use your starwood points. My understanding is you need to fax a request no earlier then 5 days before arrival, & the cost is anywhere between 750-1500 points per night. I have heard so many different point charges, & depending on who you talk to at both The Swan & Starwood, you get different stories.

Are evening alcoholic drinks complimentary, like at the Poly or BC concierge lounges?
Do you get a seperate checkin while staying in the concierge?

We just left Swan Club Level on Monday (:< . There is no separate checkin, no lunch, and no free alcoholic beverages. Even with all those "no's", it was a nice place to be and we'll do it again. Mama T and Thabo took a very personal interest in guests. There is also free bottled water in the lounge and that's a great thing for me.
