It was 73 degrees here yesterday, I took a walk all thru my yard to see what was coming to life.
I have tulips coming up everywhere, black- eyed susans already starting, various ferns, a little sprouting on my forget me nots, and some Daylilys. I am So excited to see these signs of spring!
Now I'm just waiting to see my Weeping cherry tree come to life.
To me, that means Spring!

Nothing!

Arggggghhhhh! Can't wait for Spring.

My indoor experiment with parsley seeds is still a success, though. Green is good!

All I have seen so far are 2 hyacinths in my front yard. Everything in the backyard is covered with multiple inches of straw, I guess I'd better start uncovering the beds soon.

My spring beds are coming along nicely. So far, only the daffies have bloomed.

Wow, everything looks great Heather!
I have to say, being south, your growth is ahead of ours.
That does it! I'm moving South!

Thanks for sharing the pics with us! I love seeing the pictures!

The calla lilies are back in full force. The Japanese maples finally look like they're NOT dead! Not everything goes dormant around here, but I see new sprouts all the time.

Finally, something to report! :Pinkbounc

Our teeny tiny Snowdrops (Galanthus), are up and bloomed! Surrounded by mud and piles of ugly gray melting snow, but they're there!! :) :)

Great pictures, Heather! Thank you! :)

...has Ranatra been by to check out the house yet? :teeth:

We have some tulips pushing up through the ground.

The funniest thing though, my daughter saw a huge groundhog yesterday. She said it just sat there and looked at her for a few minutes.
I guess that counts as "something" in my garden!

My crocuses are just starting to come up as are my daffodills. My chives are up about an inch or two, same with my spearmint and peppermint. The grass is starting to green up, even though my yard is saturated. It can't hold anymore water. Spring is springing! :bounce: :bounce:

Lisa -- maybe it was Phil announcing that spring is finally here. :p

Great pictures Heather. :)

I finally have some things up and running (seemed to take a really long time this year....so much rain on top of snow....not much sun....)

Daylillies are starting to peek out. So are daffies and grape hyacinth foliage.

I have blooms on my hyacinths and crocuses. Tulips are up and have buds, daffies are up too... and will be right behind the tulips.

Throughout the garden everything is coming alive. I have leaf buds and new leaves on the roses and lilacs. The clematis is sending out new vines and leaves. The spider wort is has about 6 inches of new growth up. The hardy geraniums, centranthus, and coreopsis has new shoots. The coneflowers and rudbeckia also have new shoots coming up. The salvia also is up. The holly hocks are about a foot tall already. The artemisia is also got alot of new growth (once I moved the died back growth from last year I discovered a bunch of new growth!). Iris vegetation is about 6 inches tall too. Over all ... just about everything in the garden is growing again with the exception of the russian sage which usually does not get in gear until around the first part of May.
