- Although we have stayed at the Dolphin many times I have never used the minibar, yet.....

Since I am traveling alone with my two young daughters this time I probably will take advantage of it - prices permitting. IE- if its not outrageously more expensive than say the vending machine or tubbies and kids are asleep (or close!) and I want a soda I will probably hit that mini bar!

So - my question is, if I have already broken the seal and bought a few things could I say store a leftover sandwich or unfinished milk from one of the kiddos or will they charge me the "empty fee"?

TIA

We accepted the key to the mini-bar upon the CM's recommendation that was checking us in.

He said "you might want to keep your own things cold."

So....go ahead and put a few of your own things in there!

We always use the extra room in the mini bar for some yogurts, cheese, turkey and little milks. It's very rare that we buy anything from it too.

No need to empty the frig for a leftover sandwich and a little milk (as long as it's in a small container) there should be plenty of room without having to empty it.
