cost of ice

I understand there are ice machines at the campground. Is it free like a hotel?

There are ice machines at all of the bath houses, along with washers and dryers. The ice is not free though, and the last time I heard it was going for $2 a bag. If I could recommend something. I will be there for 8 days next month. I am bringing an extra refrigerator with me. One of those small college dorm size models. My plan is to leave it outside under my canopy filled with soft drinks and bottled water.

Yes, the ice machines are $2.00. You put the bag they supply you under the dispenser and it fills it up. Have a extra bag handy too, because it will fill that one up 1/4-1/2 too. It always give you more than the bag allows.

I also am bring a fridge too and it will go under my awning. I'll keep my lunchmeat, etc in it plus sodas and water. I'lll have a smaller cooler too in case my fridge is too full with other food, etc.

i would recommend dry ice it will last longer than regular ice.
