That sounds more like a high cost lunch to me! LOL
You can eat at the Tusker House for 7.99 and get a delightful piece of fresh salmon with vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes!
You could also spend less than $5.00 and get yourself a nice bowl of fresh fruit and a pretzel at the fruit stand just outside of the Tusker house.

I believe you're referring to the AK lunch voucher 11.99 for your lunch ( includes drink) and coupon for ice cream/popcorn and bottle water/pop for later in the day. I have not used them, but plan to on our trip at the end of the month. I hope they still have them at that time. I believe they can be purchased at any of the counter service resteraunts.
They are still available. I've also heard that they've been added to the menu boards at the counter service places, so it sounds pretty permanent. The adult meal voucher is $11.99, the children's is $5.99. Adults who want a smaller portion meal and don't mind kid's choices can buy the children's voucher. They include a meal, ice cream treat or popcorn, and a water bottle/soda. When you purchase it, they give you a voucher that has three coupons on it. You tear off the one you are going to use and present it at the food vendor. Really very nice.
I did the kid's meal in August. Got a personal pizza/small drink/carrot sticks at Pizzafari for the meal. Later had a Ice Cream Cookie sandwich from a kiosk vender and a water bottle from another vender. -HM

We did it last trip and thought it was a great deal! Wish they had it at all the parks. A drink and an ice cream are going to cost you $5 anyways. If you weren't going to use the vouchers for those, it probably isn't worth it.

This does seem like a good deal. Especially if you can get a way with a kid's meal. Does anyone know what all is being offered for lunch meals? Thanks!

I don't recall offhand what the child's menus have on them, but you can find great menus at www.wdwig.com . sorry I don't have the exact page, but this will get you where it is easy to find them. Have a Disney Day!

can you buy vouchers in advance at hotel, or at gate or at participating restuarant?? Sounds like a deal.

Purchase these vouchers at AK restaurants.

I recall that my children ordered macaroni and cheese, a drink and a chocolate chip cookie, for some reason I'm thinking they got carrot sticks with this as well--but I could be wrong on the carrot sticks! We really thought these vouchers were a great deal. Especially with the second beverage and the snack.

We were at Animal Kingdom last week and enjoyed a great BBQ rib dinner with the special "meal deal" at the Flame Tree BBQ!
I hope they start doing this type of meal plan at all the WDW parks!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc
