Another missing child....

I'd like you all to know about. Susan Lyall has been missing since March of 1998. Susan's Mom worked for my wife when her daughter disapeared. Prior to Suzy going to college, she was the main sitter for our kids when Nancy and I went out for an evening. She is a nice quiet young woman.

The Smart case made me think to "get the message out" about Suzy.

I think I remember seeing her picture on the news. How sad. How could so many people just disappear?:(

I was just thinking this morning while it's really great that Elizabeth Smart as found and is ok...how sad for those families that still have missing children.

Somehow there has got to be some way to keep some of these older cases in the spotlight.

Yes, she was all over the Albany, NY news back then. The local TV stations interviewed the parents again last night after the Smart girl was recovered. It is painful, but anything to keep the word out. We give out bumper stickers at our office, but hardly anyone will take one anymore.

That is so very sad. The letter her Father wrote to the abductor just broke my heart.

Prayers that Suzanne's case is never forgotton, and that hopefully one day her parents can be a joyful as Elizabeth Smarts parents.
