I seem to be getting a good rate with Dollar. $104.99 for the week add'l day @23.69. I think that that rte is pretty good but does anyone know if they could go and cheaper? We need to have atleat a 4 door medium size car. I don't have the code for the Nat'l DC discount so...I think I will book this If anyone has the code I should be using for Nat'l code you post it Thanks Denise

This is an excellent rate for an intermed. car. I don't think you're going to get a cheaper rate anywhere. Remember, you fees will run about $40 in addtion to the base rate.

I, too, think that is a great rate, especially since with Dollar you don't need to shuttle to your car.We received the identical rate for what Dollar called an "intermediate Upgrade" fom a Ford Contour to a Dodge Intrepid or similar. They both seem about the same size to me but inquired about trunk space and felt there was a little more in the intrepid. We will be renting for 8 days and our bill including all taxes(we'll use our own insurance and 1 driver)is estimated to be $174....excluding the cost of the gas we replace to return tank at full.Check MOUSESAVERS.COM for any car rental codes...but I think you are doing pretty good right now.Have a great time and drive carefully!:D

We will be going the last week of Aug for 8 days, and despite all the "codes" and discounts... Dollar has been the best for a minivan; 209.99 for the week plus 39.99 for the extra day, so 249 +tax and fees. Everyone else, especially National have averaged $50-80 higher!

We will keep looking as we get closer.
