View Full Version : I thought I HATED pears...

But I like them! I LOVE them!

For years I have passed pears up in the produce department. I considered myself an apple or banana kind of gal. Pears were icky to me!

So for lunch this week my WW menu plan suggested one small pear (along with other things). I thought, "What the heck, one pear a day won't kill me." Turns out I LOVE the way pears taste, and I find that really strange!

Is there any food you have introduced yourself to lately that you thought you weren't crazy about before, but that you totally adore now?

There's nothing yummier than a perfectly ripe pear...except maybe a perfectly ripe peach :)

Hmmm, I can't think of anything that I used to hate that I learned to love. I'm not a very adventerous eater. I'm the type that almost always orders the same thing at restaurants, etc. I really need to expand and learn to eat more veggies though. You've inspired me! :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Dude, pears rock! I love the juice when you bite into them.

Then again, I love messy foods. :)
