Where’s a good place watch the stars and motor cars parade? When should we get there? We have a 1 year old and don’t want him to get trampled.

How about the stairs in front of the ABC Theatre (formerly The Doug Show)?

ABC Theater is a good bet.

We watched it from a great little place right in front Star Tours. Right to the leff of entrance there is a little nook not enough for a big crowd and its at the start of the parade.

ABC is great because if you sit on the steps, you will have a good view without being in direct sunlight. I would plan on getting your spot about half hour before parade begins. If crowds are really thick, then perhaps 45 min and send someone off to get drinks or snack to occupy the little ones.

We like being on Hollywood Blvd at the opposite of Hollywood and Sunset, right on the corner leading back to Hollywood and Vine restaurant. The preshow for the parade is great there! Usually the parade starts at 4 pm.

We opt for Hollywood Blvd. too, right on the curb. There are a lot of benches there to snag. Also, if you are on the corner they don't allow you beyond that point so I wouldn't think your child would get trampled.
