Giftcertificates.com - how long before they get more Rainforest Cafe?

I just received my Supercertificate for Giftcertificates.com from cashing out my Milesource. BUT now Giftcertificates.com says they are out of Rainforest Cafe gift certificates.

I think if I can wait a little bit, there will be a new supply of Rainforest Cafe (based on other peoples posts).

We are leaving on June 20th - - how long can I wait for them to replenish their supply and still get it via the mail in time for our trip.


That seems confusing - - the question is, once I order the gift certificate, how long does it take to get mailed out and arrive in my mailbox?

and that was in March. I redeemed in the middle of Feb & got mine around the 3rd week of March. Perhaps that was not the "norm" for them, but I haven't redeemed more than once, so that was my only experience. HTH!

I got a supercert last week and they didn't have any RFC. With the rumors of them closing, I decided to go ahead and get pizza hut instead.

I also wondered how long it takes to replenish their stock of GC, so I called giftcertificates.com. The person I spoke to said it depends on the merchant. It is up to the merchant when they send a new supply. It usually takes 4-7 business days but some merchants have been known to take up to a month. He said he does expect more RFC GC. Since I had him on the phone I told him about the closing rumor. He said it's only that, a rumor. He has not heard anything about giftcertificates.com closing.

I ordered mine 4/22 and got them last Saturday BUT note that they are for Landry's - there are the logos for a number of restaurants on the back of the gift certificates, including a sticker with Rainforest Cafe's logo - they just bought RC recently. I called to check to see if my old gc (from the Sarfari Club for $10) would still be honored and I was assured that it would be. Maybe the change in ownership slowed down the redemption process a bit, but I've never had any trouble with Giftcertificates.com - they've been great to deal with.

I also inquired about the closing rumor and was assured that it was just a rumor. Unfortunately, with all the deaths of reward boards in the last couple of months, we're all a little gun shy!

There are Rainforest Cafe certificates available again! I went ahead and ordered mine - if they don't come in time, I will use them when we are in Chicago in the fall.
