February Vacations

Wondering when February vacation is around the DVC world next year? Bringing my sister and her family to our home for the first time next year. She is a real stinker for crowds. She wants to take the kids out of school so she won't be going during the crowded period. Although she may not have much choice

I hope this comes out as a poll.....

Monday, February 18, 2002 is President's Day. Almost all of the public schools consider this a Holiday (no school). Many schools also break for the entire week. This is a busy time at WDW, so if you want to visit during a less crowded time, avoid 2/15 - 2/24 next year.

That said, we've been several times for President's Week and have always had a good time. (It's not as busy as Easter or Christmas, but I think it is as busy as most summer weeks). Sometimes we ran into crowds, and sometimes we hit everything just right! Enjoy your trip.

We go every year either during January or the first 2 weeks of February, the weather is usually nice and the parks are not crowded. But as previously stated Presidents Day week is busy!

We like to go when the crowds are low also. We have found the the first week in Feb. is the best bet because the following weeks are more opportune for people with children because of Pres. day and spring break.:bounce: :jester:

Hi there! I loved WDW during the first week of February! It was so great. The crowds were minimal and the weather was nice. Some days a little cold but it warmed up really nice in the afternoons. I think if I had children, it would be worth taking them out of school to enjoy this time!!
