HRH Club Room or Portofino Deluxe Poolview?

As you all may remember my issue with booking the PBH and the ressie people telling me it was concierge and it wasn't. Then I called them again and they said you'll get a $100 refund per room and complimentary room service. Even though I have the names of all the people I have spoken with, I'm still having doubts about this.

So I called back and for $4.00 more I can get the HRH club room, which is concierge.

We will be at HRH in Aug with our son and we are returning just Hubby & I in Oct for our 10th Anniv. and we want to do something special. Also since it's hubby & I we won't be as consumed with the parks as when we are with our son.

I would go for the PBH! Especially with you and dh! It is so relaxing and romantic - you will love it! Can you possibly call the resort and ask them to em you or fax you this compensation pkg. they are offering you - you want it for your records and noted on your ressie.
They are a great resort to work with and sure they will accomodate this request.

I am not sure what the restrictions on the room service but that would be great to have free room service plus the quietness of PBH!!!! -Cris

and several calls to Univ & Portofino. We cancelled our ressies. DH & I always wanted to do concierge. I have not heard good things about HRH concierge and I could not get anyone to put into writing the refund, etc. So I cancelled and booked the Royal Palm Club at the Grand Floridian!

We'll still be at Univ in Aug. So we'll still get to see the area.
