Any one stayed at Days inn universal?

Has anyone stayed at Days Inn universal???Can you walk to Universal??

Are you talking about the days inn off of major blvd? We stayed at this dump in Nov. and had a number of problems. Just to mention a few: the rooms (we had 2 ) were very dirty, heat didn't work in one of the rooms, electrical wires were exposed from the celing, fire alarms were non-existant, very loud partying all night which turned into a fight. We called the manager and he said he would have us fill out a complaint form. He would not move us because we needed 2 adjoining rooms and it probably would not have made a difference anyway. We only stayed because it was late and we were so tired from the drive (although I don't remember getting any sleep that night!). We checked out at 7 am and checked into the beautiful HRH. As far as the walk to universal It would be quite a walk especially if you have children with you. You will also have to cross a very busy intersection. If you have any more ? I'll be happy to help.

I stayed here a few years back. I thought it was OK. The rooms seemed kind of dingy though. It was perhaps the cheapest hotel in the area, but you can find better for a few dollars more.

If you're looking for a great deal on offsite Universal properties, there are three ways to go:

Check the Universal offsites on Dreams. There are some good deals right here on this site.

Check www.hotelkingdom.com

Try Priceline for a 2, 2 1/2 or 3 star room in the USF area. Check with www.biddingfortravel.com for the list and how to bid.
