My children both attend a Church school and they always run a lent appeal for a chosen charity, obviously during lent. And I have volunteered to do a sponsered slim so although I should officially start on Wednesday thought that I would start at the begining of a week - 2 extra days to loose a bit more. So here I go with my weigh in - oh my the new digital scales must be wrong - I can't possible weigh 12 st 6 lb (198 lbs), but I am 6 foot tall - I think I am going to need some extra encouragement and also some help with some low fat recipe ideas that the family will enjoy. Wish me luck and I'll check in again in a couple of days and let you know how its going.

Hi snookhams, it's great to see you on the wish board.

A "slim" is that losing weight as your committment to Lent? Sorry if I sound ignorant.

That sounds like a great idea. So you have decided to follow a low fat eating plan?

Since I follow the Atkins plan which is high fat and high protein I don't have any recipes for you but we have a lot of WW people and low fat eaters here on WISH and I'm sure they have some great recipes for you.

Good luck with this. You should grab the DIS WISH challenge clipart while you are here. Can't wait to see how this goes for you.

yes, to slim is to diet. It's not going too bad considering I work as a cook and today I have made 40 crepes for pancake day at work, and I never even ate one oh the thought of them make me feel ill, my great downfall is chocolate in any shape or form and I only buy for the kids as they want it otherwise Mummy will eat it all. I am going swimming at 7.30 a.m. tomorrow morning my aim is 30 lengths.
