Tinkerbelle with Hooks gun collector piece question.

I received as a gift the Tinkerbelle that is in the lantern with Hooks gun on the side. I remember seeing and reading this in the catalog myself and almost bought it. In the catalog discription, I thought it said that Hooks gun "goes off" when you try to open the lantern. Mine doesn't.

If anyone has this and can tell me if this was so, please let me know.

Is there a place to put batterys? Or a switch on the side?

I have that piece. The lantern lights up but my gun has never "gone off". The battery is on the base of the lantern which can be removed from the larger base with the gun.

I put the batteries in which turns on the light, but I could have sworn that the ad said the gun "goes off". Did you happen to read this ad yourself? Thanks for the help.

Nope...never read that....but I did look at the paperwork that came with the piece and it doesn't mention it. The base is not attached to the lantern in any way and I couldn't find any where to put batteries in the base.

Maybe Disney was being descriptive. :confused:
