Question about my October trip

I am going to Universal on October 26 - 30. I did not want to do HHN that weekend for fear of large crowds, but it was the only time I could get a Travel Agent rate at PBH. Which night would be best to see it the 27th, 28th, or the 29th? And will any rides be down then, or any new ones open?
