View Full Version : Are Millenium Pins wanted/collected still?

Am going to DL this Sunday!!! We have an awful lot of extra Millenium pins that I was thinking might be trade-able with the independant collectors. I've taken a look at pinshoppe.net to see what they are selling for so I know they are listed 2-4x over their retail costs.

I guess I'm just asking for guidance on whether I should take them or not. I know at WDW, if they didn't have a pin in their book, they would trade. Is that how it works here? Is there a chance w/my trading these pins, that I can trade for a limited edition pin?

Thanks for any help you can give...Sharon

They're good for trading with CMs, but I don't see many of these being equal to a limited edition in trading.

I looked up the Countdown to the Millennium pin group on pinpics.com. Most of the pins in this group have a high number of members trading versus members wanting, but some of the early ones -- #99 Goofy, #93 Pooh, and #92 Tigger, for example -- have more members wanting than members trading.

Check here (http://www.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/group.cgi?group=35) for the pin group and click on the picture for the details on each pin.

Hope this helps. :)
