I read that you can now create and make your own Disney pin at WDW. Does anyone know anything about this? Where is it and how does it work?

Hi!
I think you must be referring to Build-a-Pin at Downtown Disney.
There are various bases to choose from. Then you pick out your add ons.
They will attach the add ons into the holes in the bases with a drill press after you pay for the whole shebang. There are also Build-a-Pins from the Cruise Ships and Disneyland Resort. Anyhow your pin is customized the way you want it. Check out the pin pics database if you want to see some pictures.
I usually use Dizpins.com to get there as a link.

Thanks for the great info. My little girl and I will enjoy it. Any idea how much it costs?

BTW, we're from the Chgo. suburbs, too! Thanks again.

The last time I got one, the base pins were $6.50, and each of the smaller pins that they attach on top was around $2.00, so the price isn't too bad. Some of the base pins require at least 3 of the smaller pins, though, or you'll have holes in them that you can see if you leave them empty.
