I'm looking to book a room at the HRH 12/26-12/28. Called Universal, all they have is kids suites available. (my kids are too big) No availibility on Expedia. Hotel Kingdom shows garden view and club available.
Should I book thru them? Look somewhere else? if so where?

Hi Mattsmom,
I think because your dates fall after christmas and before new years you may have limited options. I have read many posts from people that have used hotelkingdom and all have been positive. What is their cancellation policy? Maybe book it now so you have something and as it gets closer keep trying for the ER. Also Hard Rock is really popular so you may not do any better. Another thing is you will find a minimum night with most places for these dates.
Good Luck!
Consider getting an All Access card at Hard Rock and see if you can get something that way. You can find the info at www.hardrock.com

i have used them before and found them to be very professional and helpful also. You should have no problem booking with them. Check their website fo cancellation(sp?) policies. I think they are pretty favorable.

I've used HK many times and have had great experiences with them.
The following is the cancellation policy from their website:
Cancellation Policy: In order to afford you the most flexibility in your travel planning there is no cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours of booking your reservation, provided that you are still outside of the hotel's Late Cancellation Period, which can range from 3-14 days prior to arrival (some vacation homes have Late Cancellation Period of up to 30 days prior to arrival). After the 24 hours after booking have elapsed, there is only a one-time $10 cancellation fee as long as you cancel outside the hotel's Late Cancellation Period. For cancellations within the Late Cancellation Period (typically less than 72 hours before arrival, with cut-off 3:00 p.m.), the hotel may charge you one room night, plus tax. Exceptions may apply. Please check your individual Hotel's "How to Pay" Page.
