It took me 2 months but I finally got around to scanning our last vacation pictures.
In December DH and I took a cruise with my parents and my brother. We sailed Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas and visited Ocho Rios, Grand Caymen and Cozumel.
I won't bore you with a lot of pictures, but I thought a few of these might warm everybody up! :)

This is a giant sculpture in one of the two main staircase areas on the ship.

This is Royal Caribbean's private island Labadee as seen from our balcony. We spent the day here sunbathing, swimming and the boys went jet skiing.

A little additional touch that helped make the "island" a little more rustic.

Our boat as seen from the beach. It was definately a city on water. It had everything you could imagine including an ice skating rink :)

A stingray in Grand Caymen. We did a stingray swim and were able to feed them.

I only saw a couple, then I right clicked on the boxes and copied and pasted url codes into the address bar, then clicked go, then clicked back, and the photos came up.
Very nice photos, made me warm inside, especially since we are expecting more snow by the end of the week. YUK!!!

Three of the pictures aren't coming up because you have some extra code in there. (after the .jpg, there's some extra stuff in there)

Thanks Bris - That I took all that extra stuff out. Imagestation still is being a pain though.
Thanks Michelle - I do need to change my photo, I just need to decide on which picture :)

I really loved these pictures. Was your ship the one that has rooms overlooking an atrium? Were the rooms a good size? Was the balcony room worth it? Any other details would be great.

Patio - The rooms were a decent size. I don't have anything to compare it to though.
I thought the balcony was great. It was wonderful to eat breakfast out on the balcony. It was also a lot of fun to check out our stop for the day from our balcony too.
If you have any other questions let me know. :)

WOW!! loved the pictures.. it looks as if you had a grand vacation!
btw.. you and your dh are a couple of cutie pies! really!!
I have one ? Did you tender off the ship to various ports including the private island.. or did you dock? Thanks for the info!

Jeafl - In Grand Caymen we did the Stingray City tour (which we loved) and just went shopping and ate lunch. The exchange rate is a little high so shopping in Grand Caymen isn't really a good deal. It's a beautiful place though!
Mamajoan - Thanks, you're so sweet. :) If I remember correctly, we tendered on to Labadee and on to Grand Caymen. We were able to dock at Ocho Rios and Cozumel. We didn't have to wait for any of our tenders though, they were really good about that.

Tamie! thanks.. the tendering ? has to do with my wheelchair use.. docking is just a whole lot easier for me.. thank you so much for a quick answer.
sometimes it is WAY easier getting a clearer picture of things when I ask ?'s here on the dis.
Sometimes.. hec many times the cruise people have no idea how to answer ? re: w/c's

Yes, I can see how docking would be much easier for you.
There are ramps to get you from the ship to the tender boat but I'm not sure how smooth they are to get off and on from.

Ramps would be AOK.. I have heard they use ladders sometimes. and that would be impossible...
cool.. Ramps!
