GOOD!!!!
I'm glad Napster is being shut down, or whatever's happening to it!! It was a scam to get people hooked, and then charge money!! Then, the people would be too hooked to cancel it!!!! Sorry to be a bummer, but it's all too perfect!!
PUNK ROCK ISN"T DEAD!!!!
HAVE A NICE DAY!!!

I still have it but I never use it anymore. I just went on last week so my friend could download something from me, but only 3 out of 160 of my songs were actually available to download! I guess I'll have to delete it:(

Napster wasn't a scam. It was just a way to bring free music to everyone, and then all the bands decided that this would stop people buying their albums, and so now Napster will have to charge people soon.
The amazing thing was, that all the bands who are trying to 'keep it real' were all the ones trying to ban it. I go real sick of Metallica, Eminem, The Manics, etc. going on and on about how terrible it was. Sell outs.

I just downloaded the newest version, and it's working fine for me! I've got a lot of new songs that are popular now! Sorry it's not working for everyone.

It can still work. Certain artist's songs are filtered out, but a lot aren't (Disney songs aren't :D ). The problem is that no-one's on it anymore. I think the best tie is Saturday night, that's when most people are on.

it still works for me, but some artists you just can't get... try spelling the songs name wrong, or dont type the whole title... it works fine and i've downloaded about 150 songs since napster "shut down"

not to advertise or anything, but i use audiogalaxy. (http://www.audiogalaxy.com)

it has as wide a range of songs as napster, and works better. the good thing is if you get disconnected from the internet, or there's a "transfer error (as on napster)", audiogalaxy picks up the transfer right where you left off.

We just got a new CD burner and we use Audiogalaxy. Its pretty good! Bearshare is good too! I like Audiogaxaly because you can look for a song and the click on different artist and find all of there songs! Good Luck everyone using Napster!!

<font color=blueviolet size=4>I have KaZaA & i'm pretty pleased w/it! I tried audiogalaxy, but everytime i tried to log in it wouldn't let me... Anyways, I used bearshare for awhile, before I discovered KaZaA... It was alrite.. but KaZaA's better. Another program similar to KaZaA is Morpheus. I have that too, but i haven't really used it.

Thanx, I am downloading AudioGalaxy.

No matter what I do (DSL, etc...), my connection is so ****ing slow that it takes 15 minutes to download 1 mp3...*sighh*... it used to take half an hour. I have abour 550 mp3s since January, which is about the same amount that I downloaded from summer '00 to October. Both groups of files are in different places, and Napster will only play the newer half. When I downloaded Napigator, it only played the first 450 or so...ay, yi yi.

Any advice?

JC
