Is this a good rate for AK??

I have a "bounce back" ressie (code BAQ) booked for WL for this coming October but am considering switching to a savanah view at AK. The price would be $210 (including taxes) Is this a good rate? We do have annual passes and hope that we could get a better rate but if not do you think $210 per night is good?

Just checked the rack rates over at wdwig.com and the October rates (Regular Season) are $315 for Savannah view and $395 for Deluxe Savannah view.

I'm unsure if you could get any cheaper than $210 or not. That's over $100 off rack rate. Since you are an AP holder, maybe AP rates are better?

Thanks, loveswdw. This is a good deal from "rack rates". It still might be a little out of our price range so I am hoping that a better AP rate comes out. I think I have seen around $179, but this might be for a different time of year.

I think you can alot better on that rate. We booked Akl last September, and Got 114 for standard view,I then upgraded to a Savannah view for 169. I would keep my ressie so you know you have the room, watch the discounts and adjust when you get a better rate.

I have a come back special rate of $184/night with tax for Dec. This is for savannah view. I'll be watching to see if I can do any better when codes or AP rates come out.

December is a value season and Oct is regular season. I guess this is why you got a better rate. I hope I can still find something better than $210. Thanks for your response.

September is also value season. I think we paid around $169 plus tax also ($187). That was a code rate. The AP rate was similar, maybe a little more.

I'd be happy with $210 (189 without taxes) for regular season! If something better comes out, you can always switch. :)
