My 6 year old daughter has leg braces, and can not always bend her legs certain ways to get on rides, such as the Dumbo ride, that will be a bit difficult for her she only weights 38 Lbs, if she is having a difficult time getting onto a ride will a Disney employee help her or will I need to get her onto the ride, she is very proud of her independance from mom.

Disney employees (CMs) are not allowed to physically help any guests get onto rides. They can assist by doing things like holding onto canes while you are getting on and moving a wheelchair after you have gotten out of it. but they can't lift or touch someone to help them get on.
You will need to physically help her if she needs help.
I know how it is when the child wants to be independent, but they really need help. Maybe you can work on some things befoer your WDW trip, like letting her direct you when she needs help. That way she can still be the "independent, in charge person", but still get the help she needs. While you are waiting to get on rides, you should be able to watch the loading process a little. That can help you and her plan out what help she will need to get on.
You might also try talking with her teachers and/or therapists for suggestions. I'm sure they have dealt with the situation before.
