portofino pools

What are the pools like at this resort? Is there an area with a pirate ship to play with or on? How deep are the pools?

There is no pirate ship or play area for kids at the PBH. The Royal Pacific does have a ship play area, though.

There is a pirate ship play area for the kids at Portofino and also a kids pool. My 5 year old loves playing on it! Here you can see a picture of that area.

There are 3 pools the beach pool which is large has zero entry and offers drink service and poolside light fare. A really great slide too! A hot tub.

Then there is the villa pool where they have cabana's and a hot tub.

There is also an eastside pool. It was closed when we were there last.

What is the slide like at the beach pool?? Is it enclosed??? How does it compare to HRH pool slide.?? I know they say HRH has the best slide...Is PBH slide almost as fun?? Is it almost as long??? thanks...amy
